Had a group of them in quarters at the far corner of the B-52 crew trailers at UTapao. Always upbeat and fun to be around.

If I had flown slicks, I'd probably have seen them. Would have appreciated the donuts.

I met a donut dolly in Kalispell, Montana back in the day I drove truck. Remembering the USO at Freedom Hill, I went to the local florist and bought her a dozen roses. The next day when checking on the load of cabinets I gave her the roses and said, “thanks for all you did for all of us!” She teared up saying, “no one has ever thanked me before, thank you!” It was a good day.
