I went up against the county of El Dorado board of Supervisors this morning. I was invited to participate in a particular cause, and found an opportunity of support with fellow peers. To my dismay non of those people showed up and I never received a phone call to let me know if the meeting had been changed to a later date.
As I sat and watched in the hopes my fellow members would show up I began to feel insecure. For the first time I felt a lone. The board room was full of Veterines, elderly folks, suites and members of the “State of Jefferson!” As I listened to the others request for clarification of Federal Funds and approved “Other Govt” uses. I realized to myself that even though I did not see my fellow members, I still had a duty to represent everyone in that room!
I had in my hands the evidence of illegal money loandering of federal Disibility funds being shifted and programs being eliminated in order to fund other county needs. These federal funds are as followed, but are not limited to the listed. Veterine Disibility, Disabled Elderly Housing, Childrens In Home Support Services, school Disibility funding exc. All this information was something that needed to be exposed!
But at what risk?! I’ve never been one to run from a fight, but those were days when it was just my life I had to worry about. So naturally, I stood up during open forum to serve the Board of Supervisors a copy of the letter I sent to the president
“Dear (Mr.) President,
I would like to request a federal investigation of the Disability funded programs in El Dorado County California, such as IHSS, Elderly assisted living, Head Start, Stair Steps and Veterans disability, for illegal laundering of Federal funds. I would also like to request an investigation be done on the El Dorado County Education Department for the neglect, abuse and ostracism of children with special needs and disabilities.”
For the first time in my life I stood a lone to fight an enemy greater then just me! But I represented myself as the one person who would fight for every Veterine and every person in that room and in our town. I know from the hated and concerned looks on each of there faces that I opened something I can no longer walk away from.
After I finished and submitted a copy of my letter into public record I received almost a standing applaud from everyone able to stand. I made enemies of my county supervisors, and comrads of my fellow citizens fighting the same enemy.
I never wanted to be the one that stood up a lone, but I don’t have it in me to watch corruption consume its people. I wish I could show you the video of today’s meeting, but it appears they took down all the videos for the meetings this months.
What are your thoughts!

Taking down videos is a lot like smashing cell phones with hammers isn't it?
Sounds like you got them wishing they were fishing.
Don't let it go. I've seen bad boys.. don't give up.

I don't know how to give up PO3 John Wagner! And yes, they were not happy with me.

SFC (Join to see) - Good. That means that they are uncomfortable.
None of them are in a high enough position or even better far enough removed from any wrongdoing to escape legal consequences.
They may be learning about the old adage.. "Don't steal from the government. They don't like competition."

SFC (Join to see) - The more low level officials that go down in flames over such matters all over the country then the better behavior we will see from the rest.
There's some serious grassroots movement that needs to occur.
Somethings must start from the bottom up.
Start rolling up the networks. The little ones will sing like canaries.

I have three, SFC (Join to see): 1) God bless you. Your children are fortunate that you are their mom, and your neighbors are lucky that you live with them. 2) Check your six often. I expect you will be hearing alot more from County apparatchiks. 3) Identify suitable legal council. You have made some claims that may wind up being litigated. My two cents.
