Hello my name is Anthony Royer I am %100 percent permanent and total. I attempted suicide on December 24th 2025 due to severe pain that the VA has been refusing to manage. I would like to highlight the egregious lack of sufficient pain management veterans receive as well as get help for myself.

PVT Tony Royer I'm sorry to hear of the challenges you shared. We're here to listen, but please reach out to a professional if you need help. Here are some resources that are free: https://www.rallypoint.com/emergency-support

Mental health professionals can't fix a chronically worsening pain condition is the problem

No, they cannot, but they may be able to get you referred to pain management along with addressing the mental issues. I know that pain management might not be a silver bullet, but even if it helps, that's a start. Hang in there.

The problem is that pain management is refusing to manage my pain. Also, I have multiple doctors trying to get me on stronger pain meds like opioids or benzodiazepines but the pharmacy won't allow it. Plus regular VA pain management is almost a complete joke,
