I wonder how much is he getting paid?
At my former department, the city brought in an outsider to conduct an investigation. He quoted the city a price for what he thought would be a 30 day investigation. Next thing you know, he kept adding time (and money) to his investigation. At one point he even went back to an incident that occurred 16 years earlier that had no connection to what he was hired to investigate. In the end, he made a fortune and left us with an investigation that we couldn’t defend in court. The legal fees cost us millions.
I foresee Mueller going down the same path. Lots of money spent for something that never existed.

Sounds like a fishing expedition. In law enforcement (I have 30+ years experience in it) we always start with a allegation of a crime before we investigate. This investigation sounds a solution looking for a problem. Its doomed to fail because it wasn't honest from the beginning. Anytime a criminal investigation is politically motivated, its chances of success are slim. When a independent body looks at the facts of the case it almost always falls apart.

MSG Francisco Ojeda - You bring up some great points that I will not argue. We will see what comes of this. All I want is an honest, non-political investigation. Which is hard to come by in DC.

Well Mueller already has at least one guilty plea, so he certainly won't need to defend the investigation in court for that conviction....
