Analysis of ancient DNA found in Finland has unveiled a surprise a century later – the remains of an early medieval warrior thought to be female may have been nonbinary.

This isn't really surprising. As we roll back the curtain on centuries of white christian revisionism, we're finding that the world is very little like they insisted it should be.

I feel like this is more opinion than science. It seems like they’re putting today’s narrative into a historical story. And the article seems contradictory.
They says that “biology doesn’t dictate a persons identity” but then go on to identify a male with a genetic disorder as non-binary

Regardless of what we "THINK" he/she was, did anyone ask he/she what his/her specific gender was? Anything short of that is pure speculation.
