I attended and became licensed armed security by attending a state certified program taught by the police department. It was the same program their officers had to attend in handling their service weapon. Before entering the program you had to qualify by passing the MMPI test (Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory Diagnostic Test). The program consisted of 40 hours class time and 8 hours range time. Once the program was completed and you passed the state licensed test you became licensed state certified armed security.

The only one that is an issue is #4. My wife will not handle a firearm, period. After 47 years, I just deal with the fact that I will never change her mind.

Maj Robert Thornton - Same here, but I found the trick. She never knows of my new guns, so when she does see one, and asked if that's a new gun. I always say, I always had it, but never usually have it out,, and when the next questions is, When did you get it, I say, Remember when you got mad that day about it? She then says, Yea, that's right. Lol
