Today is a somber day. I'm grateful for men like MLK Jr who were willing to fight an unpopular and "losing" battle according to some so that all Americans could share the same freedoms.

The disturbing thing is it seems many people fail to grasp the message Martin Luther King was making, it wasn't about special treatment it was about everybody being treated on a equal basis based on their own character. Special Treatment for any group isn't a good thing. He knew that and made that point very clear.
