What I would give for a man like RFK in either party right now.... He was just a lovable man with a beautiful sweet wife.... young and energetic, so well spoken, and with a calm nature... didn't like to boast of bash.... America could sure use a man like him again. IMO of course.

SMSgt Lawrence McCarter - I wouldn't either, but you have government run health care in Canada....

PFC David Foster - Yes, and My next door neighbor that was from Canada says its NOT very good and many services if You have serious problem aren't even available and the amount of citizen tax dollars spent on it is huge. Many from countries that have Government run healthcare come to the United States for thing that aren't even available to them with Socialized medicine but not everyone of course can afford that. If You health is great ok, but have some major heath problems and have government decide what You will and won't get or when it is available and many have died for lack of that care under socialized medicine.

SMSgt Lawrence McCarter - I've talked to many people from Canada and you are the first person who has complained.... I don't believe Canadian hospitals are lacking any major equipment... Do you work for an insurance company??? Yea, I bet that's it, either a big American Insurance Company or a big corporation dealing with hospitals and medical supplies and machines...

PFC David Foster - NO I don't work for an Insurance Company and they are a big part of the problem in the US. It's not so much the quality of Health care in Canada as the expense and for more serious problems getting the care. I'm not from Canada so have no first hand experience and based only on what People that are or were Canadian Citizens have to say. They are NOT a third world country and day to day life there is pretty much the same as here. The same issues exist in other counties with Socialist medicine although it seems Canada doesn't have the problem with out of control drug cost that the US does. Maybe someone from Canada here may have some input and get it more first hand. It doesn't affect Me, I don't live there and have adequate coverage here.
