SFC it means that the Federal government still has it classified as whatever on it's drug tier, and you still can't touch it if you're a SM. For those with VA bennies, it could cost you that way also. On one hand you could smoke to rid yourself of pain or memories for awhile (I think it'd be effective), on the flip side come up hot and loose your job because the job doesn't play that. Both levels of government need to have a heart to heart and sort this out. It makes no sense to have it allowed in one sense, but big brother says no it's still illegal.

MCPO Roger Collins - Laying low Master Chief. Said something that I thought was ok, but looking at it again, it could've been taken a whole different way. So I cut back on my responses.

MAJ Ken Landgren - and there will be some issues quick. Oregon allows this in THEIR state. No problem. But the second an Oregon resident crosses in CA (for example), you've crossed state lines with illegal drugs. Now it could be a federal offense. That type of ambiguity is wrong, and will lead to more good folks with pointless blemishes on their records and others loosing jobs. I'm sure the DEA wants this to stay as is, and part of me does too. My biggest issue with legalizing any drug is that depending on method used, damn near EVERY illegal drug has a medical use. Are we opening up Pandora's box in doing this?

People will take risks, and I don't think it's good for the memory.

MAJ Ken Landgren - When I mentioned memory it wasn't to "improve" your ability to remember (I was always told it wouldn't help but hurt), but to "improve" your ability to deal with nightmares and flashbacks. Should've gone into more detail on that. My bad Sir.

In Washington State they are stumped why the illegal trade is blooming even though it has been legalized in the state. They actually thought that legalizing Marijuana would stop the profit of the illegal trade of selling Marijuana and that they would benefit from all the tax dollars.
