Did your mama ever ask you: "If all your friends... would you?" It was a lesson in personal responsibility. Hillary's supporters are now attempting to mitigate her crimes by using the same excuse you attempted to use as a child: "But, mama, everyone else is doing it." Well, if there are/were, prove it and prosecute them as well. However, We the People shouldn't be distracted by excuses. We've had a gut full of poor ones. They have been occupying the seats of government far too long.

Sgt Mark Ramos - Not the first time an IG was dismissed for crossing the Clintons or Obama. I'm surprised that the VAOIG is still in place.

CPT L S - Don't get me started on Iran-Contra, I handled the Messages and I have no problem explaining how we sold repair parts for US Weapons systems to Iran and used the Proceeds to Fund Right Wing Death Squads in the Americas. I am still Pissy about Republicans outing Valerie Plame who is a Friend of a Friend.

CPT L S - So, I guess your mama never taught you about personal responsibility, that you aren't excused just because others are doing something wrong. Maybe you should study the lessons of Nuremberg. Just following orders like just following the crowd simply does not mitigate guilt.

Personally, I think we need to go ahead and admit that up until the end of Clinton's term, senior government officials at federal and state levels have used personal email to conduct all kinds of official, and often quite sensitive, business. The list of names is enormous and those are only the ones that have admitted to it. God help us all if someone starts poking around, say, the Senate Intelligence Committee or the House Armed Services Committee. We'll probably find that they either used personal email or someone without proper clearance had access.

Politics. That's all this is. What law was broken? Why isn't she being prosecuted if she broke the law?

MCPO Roger Collins - Your point is well taken. In addition, going after a Clinton is a very perilous thing. It is not something you rush into. I would image the FBI would be very cautious and take much more time than usual to ensure they have an air-tight case before requesting charges filed.

SGT Jeremiah B., I fail to see how this, "has always been political and
never about what's right". Multiple inept Republic subcommittees failed to notice that
Secretary Clinton was exclusively using a private email address and server to conduct her
business as secretary of state. It's my understanding that a combination of public disclosure
resulting from a Guccifer hack, and FOI actions by Judicial Watch brought the unusual
arrangement to light. A subsequent review before public release triggered scrutiny by an
IG and further investigation by the FBI.
The entire scrutiny process should have happened during Clinton's tenure as secretary of state, but the IG position was vacant. Everything that has come to light now, would have either been prevented, or come to light years ago if the normal checks and balances were in place. The only political component is that Republicans are using the ongoing investigation to criticize Mrs. Clinton. The Republicans didn't trigger the FOI release or the FBI investigation.
