And I'm pretty sure the creators have already acknowledged that a lot of stuff in this was inaccurate or simply made up. Kind of the problem with those "based" on a true story films rather than just the true story.

This interview with some of the participants/survivors of Benghazi that swear the movie is how it happened and not a demonstration gone bad. I saw the movie 13 hours at Benghazi on Netflicks and these men survived the odds though the Ambassador and 3 others lost their lives. I've seen the survivors interviewed several times. Most of them were on the set when the movie was made to ensure it was accurate. They all said, to a man, the movie was accurate and well done and told the story as it happened. The moves was based upon the book which they participated in as well.
I am not sure where you are getting that anyone acknowledged it was inaccurate or made up that was involved in the making of it...Source on that please.
