I'm not defending these clowns, but again if you chant something it does not mean you're part of the org. If that's the case, when people call me and I don't know the number I answer the phone "Triple K Inc...how can I hang you"? I SERIOUSLY DO THIS. I also get shorter conversations. Looking at me you KNOW I'm not part of the Klan, and NEVER will be. I do not condone their actions any more than any other clown who has to use a "group" to either incite or cause violence. I think these are some ignorant ass teens who thought it'd be "cool" to chant something that has a point, but use it in a manner that has no point. I hope they're found and made examples of. Black lives DO matter. Sometimes you have to want it yourself to matter. Once you believe, others will too. ALLLIVESMATTER, and it's not a slogan it's a plain fact.

SSG Warren Swan - true...no doubt that these young men were not affiliated with the BLM movement...unfortunately between media sensationalism and negative press...they are tied to the BLM movement.

MAJ (Join to see) - Thanks Sir. I think it's just "too easy" to believe the bad in anything, or even question it when it seems that "easy" to put together. What you said is 1001% truth.

SP5 Christine Conley - it's a Carrying Concealed Weapon or better known as Concealed Carry. A State authorized legal license to carry a deadly weapon for protection of persons, property, or self.

PO2 Mark Saffell - I see where you're going. Unfortunately, the Marine was struck from behind after leaving the McDonalds. If had been carrying, legally, his weapon would have been stolen also. To caveat on the CCW, I believe he would have definitely been more vigilant when leaving. CCW holders are definitely more protective of, not only themselves, but of guarding that weapon. Good point though.

I figured someone would have beaten me to posting this. How do we keep this stuff from spiraling? As an individual my answer is to avoid crowds, travel armed, speak softly and be ready to fight at all times. But as a society....Assaults are unacceptable. Armed assaults are less acceptable. Armed Group assaults are even less acceptable.

Welcome to Washington DC Sir. Murder rate is one of the highest in the country, higher than entire of Alaska State, yet weapon carry and ownership is highly restricted it. In fact recently one of the soldiers transporting weapons to his next duty station was arrested all because he carried unloaded and disassembled weapons and ammo on the interstate and it took Heller v District of Columbia lawsuit to allow firearms to be legally carried.
Thugs walk, beat up and rob people with impunity while fat ass politicians sit behind their armed security detail.

SPC(P) Jay Heenan Amen! I'd like to think that is the way I bought up my children. I know that is the way my parents taught me! I truly believe it starts with the parents and the parents before and it's an individual's personal decision how they will proceed in life - just an opinion - case in point - I've seen with my Dad who was kicked out of the house with his twin brother at age 13 to live on the streets and work in the factories at a very young age. He came from a very bad environment. They had to make a choice, some things they did were bad and others were good, but in the end both of them joined the military, fought in wars and turned out to be great parents, fathers, and providers.
