Newt Gingrich: Wake Up, Republicans – It’s Either Trump or Clinton

THE CHOICE IS CLEAR....I want you all think about it for a few minutes. What we as the military are witnessing is a quiet and peaceful revolt against the establishment. It doesn't matter if you lean Republican or Democrat because the whole electorate as a body is not happy with the status quo.
If you lean Republican, you feel betrayed over the last five election cycles, particularly if you have a constitutionalist bending toward historical conservatism. If you believe in capitalistic free enterprise, pro-life, limited government and limited taxation you have become energized by Trump's campaign against the establishment. He has certainly deflated the PC Police down to mire bogyman status.
If you are leaning Democrats you really need to ask yourself if "Is this as good as it gets?" Come on!!! Talk about raiding the local nursing home for descripts. Hillary could be in a depends commercial while Bernie looks like he is using the podium as a walker. Forget that Bernie is a socialist and aging campus radical who mooched off of undergrads at UVM (of which I have first hand experience). And then there is Hillary who should be indicted not nominated.
So Newt Gingrich is right about the Republicans having to wake up and do what is best for the party and the nation. Still it never ceases to amaze me how the Republicans can snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory.

Yeah Newt, How was that didling that next wife, while the current one was in the Hospital with Cancer work out? Newt Lost all Credibility with me a long time ago.

I disagree with Newt on this LTC Thomas Tennant. Hillary is facing an FBI investigation and sanders may end up as the nominee. On the republican side the remaining primaries are in states with all or nothing delegates. Up yo now the delegates are apportioned so Trump has over 500, Cruz has over 300 and Rubio has over 100 so far. There are many more delegates in play. I will be interested to see how last night's debate and the news cycle over the next couple weeks impacts the voting.

LTC Thomas Tennant
So far the numbers are giving Trump traction. Look, IF Marco wins Florida and Ted picks up more states, we are faced with a brokered Republican convention. That could be a disaster for the party and conservatives. Also, remember Trump is running as a populist and this might open the door for a three way General Election. I think the best we can hope for is a Trump/Kasich ticket. Under no uncertain terms do I want Hillary or Bernie to win.

A brokered convention would be the best thing to attract independents and democrats to watch a convention which has not been brokered since 1968. Every cycle since then it was a foregone conclusion who would be nominated.
If the candidates were forced to compete at a convention they would need to forge positions and plans on all the major issues to differentiate themselves. This would benefit each of them and the American voters who will be deciding which direction this nation will go after 8 years of Obama LTC Thomas Tennant.

SSG James J. Palmer IV aka "JP4" - I think she may well be the first one to be running for POTUS who has been indicted by the FBI. That would be a very strange circumstance.
Lyndon LaRouche was a local figure who ran for President from 1976 to 2004 until he was arrested. I used to debate his devotees outside firehouse primaries and meetings in Loudoun County over the years.
I am not a fan of Donald Trump either - he reminds me of a bull in a china shop.

This is the reason Trump is doing so well, all the main stream politicians have between the lying, cheating, stealing, the people are sick and tired of the media, politicians and the state of the union. We want change and demand it.
