Thanks SSgt for sharing. Ain't it the truth! We have to live with that memory every day of our lives! All we can do is learn to make peace with our haunts and demons. I use my old stand by prayer everyday, "God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I can not change, The courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference." In other words and in plain English "Fu-k it!"

MAJ Ken Landgren, don't be. What I don't know won't hurt me. It may make my wife miserable though, if it ever comes to that. She is already accustomed to my memory lapses at this point, and some of it seems to be rubbing off onto her.
