They don't call them the 'Spoilermakers' for nothing.
This loss is an embarrassment to the team and the student body but much of the blame falls on the coaching staff for not prepping the defense properly. Irrespective of the injuries to key players, this team should have the depth to overcome both a high-energy offense and the absurdity of the rather capricious Zebras as we have come to expect from as far back as the Nebraska game.
Their next test will be one equal to or greater than the one last Saturday when Maryland comes to the Woodshed.
We shall see how resilient this team can be in five short days.
