There are those who see actions like this as evidence that:
[1] Donald Trump is a figure of derision and mockery beyond America's borders;
and
[2] He is also perceived as being in lockstep with Putin.
I don't, personally, remember any President BEFORE President Eisenhower, but I cannot recall any "serious" candidate for the office of President of the United States of America who STARTED the campaign with less international stature than Mr. Trump is.
So, on a scale of 0 to 10 (0 being "Who cares what anyone outside of America thinks because whomever is elected the President of the United States of America is the 'Leader of the Free World' and that means that they are automatically a quantum step better than anyone else in the world at everything." while 10 is "Oh My GOD!!!! This is disastrous. It's the end of the world!!! We have to do something!!! Quick open a twitter account names '#AmericaApologizes'!!!!!") - where do you stand?

My family is English and my fiancée is French (we have a flat in Paris), constantly I get questions about how could Americans seriously consider Trump as presidential material. It really is embarrassing but those Trump supporters seem to revel in it.
