It's kind of funny in a sense to think the American people can now sue Saudi Arabia for what is deemed the reason for the 9-11 attacks. But lets look back for a moment when LTC Oliver North was giving his deposition: He had mentioned then that America needed to be guarded against a man Bin Laden. Of course everyone on the panel thought the name was funny and that he was just making this up. Then we move onto when clinton was president, I believe the Sudanese had him in custody and offered to hand him over to America because of the 1993 World Trade Center attack. It was Maj. Gen. Elfatih Erwa who offered to give over bin laden. But as clinton recalls he did not know of any violence that bin laden had committed against the American people. So if there is anyone who needs to be sued it is the man who was charged with the safety of Americans. I wouldn't so much worry about the suing the Saudi government over suing the person who allowed this guy the freedom to attack us in the way they did. But of course as slick as the clintons are nothing will ever point to them. Although there are no confirmed facts from what the 9/11 commision has posted this whole incident should be a wake up call to every American about how our safety is regarded.

We don't need their oil. We need to stop wasting our money in the Mid East and rebuild this country, not to mention pay down our debt. How much did we borrow and add to our debt for the war in Iraq? Will the region repay us? The region would be better off with iron fisted Saddam who was not a religious fanatic, suppressing the nuts!

SSG James Arlington - Staff;

[1] "We don't need their oil." - Don't count on it.
[2a] "We need to stop wasting our money in the Mid East ..." - The "in the Middle East bit is superfluous.

[2b] "... and rebuild this country, not to mention pay down our debt." - Couldn't agree more (unfortunately that is going to mean subsidizing either (a) "The People" [which is "Socialist Economics"] or (b) "Corporations" which is "Fascist Economics").

[3] " How much did we borrow and add to our debt for the war in Iraq?" - Which one? Although the full numbers have not yet been released (and probably never will be), the US most likely "made a profit" on Gulf War I (which was "legal" because the UN said it was). As far as Gulf War II goes (which was "legal" because the US government said that it was), the US most certainly incurred a loss.

[4] "The region would be better off with iron fisted Saddam who was not a religious fanatic, suppressing the nuts!" - Which is what those people who actually knew something about the Middle East have been saying all along (and what the US government is tacitly acknowledging [but trying to do so without making President George W. Bush look like a TOTAL jerk]).

Interesting Take COL Ted Mc. You're right the IRA was Heavily Funded by Irish American Catholics. My Neighbors and Friends in Cincinnati, OH. IRA helped the Libyans bring in a bomb that blew up the British Airways office that I believe was an attempt on me and my coworkers lives that went off in-front of that place in the early am we passed on the way to work.
