It's not about HIM. The message needs to be sent to every citizen of the world. If you decide to simply "follow orders" there will be no statute of limitations if you assist in committing crimes against humanity.
That being said there are several thousands of former NKVD Officers breathing free air today, as well as War Criminals from All Sides of every War. Either be just or be the victor.

Yes! It may be years and/or decades later but the crimes you do will one day come back to haunt you. You may have to own up to them while here on earth or once you get to the pearly gates if not both.
