SSG Robert Webster - I would not want to be in your classroom acting a fool, or the parents of a child that is acting a fool and have to meet you.

SSG Warren Swan - I had one student that acted foolishly and was failing LDII (Leadership Development II). I do not know what he told his father, but his father decided to call the IG and file a complaint. The investigation meeting was very short and it involved the IG (a Colonel), the DoDDS Region Superintendent, the school Principal, the Director of Army Instruction (a Captain), the Senior Army Instructor (a SFC), myself, and the student's father (a Colonel). After I presented the information and school work of the student, the DAI, the SAI, and myself were asked to leave the conference room. About 15 minutes later a very unhappy parent was leaving, never again did I have any trouble out of that student, neither did any of his other teachers from that point forward. I understand that he eventually joined the service, became a Captain and did quite well during his service career. I believe that he branched Signal. I understand that he is now working for IBM.
