Because he's an upstanding public servant that truly believes his cause is the right cause, and guess what... so do a lot of other people that fully support him. Just like you keep going on about Hillary, who's about as crooked as anyone on the right that you want to name.

My problem is I just can't get behind Johnson. I agree with some of the ideas but others just don't fit in my mind. Not sure how I will vote yet. But I know for sure it will not be Clinton.

For me, it's a simple choice. I can't support either of the two big ones. Clinton is obvious reasons, and Trump is... how can I put it best? The anti-moderate? I don't necessarily agree with everything Johnson puts forward, but for me, he's the best choice. So that's where my vote goes.

Either that, or write-in Rosanne Barr. She said she'd be willing to take a stab at it, too.

Americans are caught in a dilemma. If they don't vote for one of the two their vote in effect possibly elects the other.

And that's exactly the problem. At least in my opinion, which is that kind of thinking is exactly what keeps the two-party system in power. And it will get consistently worse every single election.

He seems to still have faith that the Democratic party will do the right thing and nominate someone who prioritizes working people over Goldman-Sachs. I believe his faith is misplaced, the Democrat party is far too corrupt to be saved, he would be better off building a new party or throwing his weight behind the Green Party.

Perhaps he believes that someone who is "extremely careless" with classified information, has received disproportionately high speaking fees from her supposed "wall street" enemies, for a decidedly uninspiring speaker, and savaged women with legitimate complaints of sexual misconduct against her husband, does not meet his standards for holding the office.
