I have always felt that when our enemy, and yes they are our enemy regardless of what our own leaders might say or do, attacks military targets that I have a much less disgust for these murdering monster but I also find that I care less when they are killing their own internal people versus when they kill US or Western citizens? This is really more about a civil war than anything else from what I have been able to see?

MSG Brad Sand, war may be uncivilized in its very nature, but most wars are directed against a specific enemy State. The radical Islamists' war is against civilization itself.

MSG Brad Sand, the run up to WWII was the same. Will we never learn?
