Downsizing the force via troops in combat zones?
I just came across this article and found it interesting. I would think that they would stray away from those that are deployed so as to not disrupt combat operations. What are your thoughts?

I read this too and could not believe that it is happening while deployed. Someone in the funny 5 sided building is not thinking.

There is no purpose behind notifying them in theater. This should wait until they are back home.

There is a time and a place for everything. I do not see letting a soldier know they are no longer needed in an already stressful environment as a good thing. Combat, is neither the time or the place.
