Awesome accomplishment and congratulations! Just goes to show you that if one wants something bad enough, it will come. Although I personally don't know what it would take mentally, i would think that there is a myriad of factors that would not be immediately thought of. For instance, one's upbringing that forges character. Once again congratulations on your accomplishment...

LTC (Join to see), In my personal opinion, the mental aspect is the toughest part of training for anything, and overcoming the mental obstacles. Even in civilian life, the mental games playing in your head for interviewing for a job, buying a house, or planning a funeral, can be very painful. Especially if you don't get the job or the house? The physical part is fairly easy to adjust to, unless you're being harassed by your fellow troops or the Cadre.
