I wonder if all these people with thier panties in a wad over this could even pick the original flag of the CSA out of a lineup? As has been pointed out in other posts, the flag they are upset about is the Battle Flag of the Army of Northern Virginia. They say the Confederate flag should be in museums and monuments to history. Are not our cemetaries monuments to the men who fought and died. When Lincoln established the VA, he mandated that it would care for all American Servicemen, including Confederate servicemen. Has the VA lost it's knowledge of it's core directives, given at it's conception?

The VA supports things that don't amount to a hill of beans, but they aren't on top of of things that do matter. I'm not writing about the employees. I'm writing about the VA system itself. I've had no problems at my VA with the employees. Everyone knows the VA stays in hot water over vets dying and suffering before they finally get treatment, or if they get treatment at all. Making a big deal over the Confederate flag, has no reason to affect anyone. It used to be an honorable flag. Somehow it became synonymous with hating and killing blacks. That's what I see and think about when I see the flag. It's true intention was ruined by the red necks and prejudice of the blacks. If I was a black soldier, and I was buried next to someone who flew the Confederate flag, my family wouldn't like it.

Flags in cemeteries in honor of veterans: prompt action by the VA. Improving health care for veterans: no action by the VA. I don't know about you, SGT (Join to see), but I'm not surprised.

Maj William W. 'Bill' Price, Yes Sir, the VA has their priorities in the right place. NOT! I guess they don't want to look bad by allowing Confederate flags in National cemeteries. What an oxymoron.

But, the men who died fighting under that flag are US veterans.

Maybe someday we sill stop all of this BS.
