I am voting for Gary. Is ideal for the Military Industrial Complex - No. He supports a robust National Defense. Serving a a mercinary force for our old WW1 and 11 foes is not in our interest anymore. The thing I support most is his view of the role as the Chief Executive. Sign laws that will help and veto those that don't. As far as making law he will tell you that that's Congress's job. As far as his position on dope, our war on drugs isn't working. Legalize the stuff and let Darwin sort the users out.

"War on drugs isn't working" - Have you ever been a part of that fight? You'd be surprised about the success we've had. Drugs also are not confined onto just the single user. They affect families, friends, co-workers, peers, and then some. Your survival of the fittest is not the answer.
Gary Johnson also has no clue about what to do with regards to foreign policy or the use of our military. In this world, one cannot simply bunker down and wait to be attacked before responding. This leads to destroying our influence in the world and sacrificing our national interests.
You also might want to look into his knowledge base on how guns work. The man actually believed removing a firing pin would make a gun fully automatic. I realize Libertarians desperately want a viable candidate. Hell, as a Conservative left with Trump, I did too. Johnson is not that guy.

It was a stupid "gotcha" moment in the first place. I am by no means a Johnson supporter but this issue was dumb in the first place. There are a significant number of people in the Military, State Dept, Congress, and the White House who never heard of Aleppo. I would even wager that maybe a handful of people in all of RP who would have recognized the city right off the bat.

Maj Kevin "Mac" McLaughlin - "Contextual question" lacking any sort of context. I follow quite a bit of topics and had to ask "in reference to what?" when the situation came up (I also cook, and aleppo is a type of spice). The city is not the first thing I thought of.
