I cannot stand Sean Hannity, I despise him more than any of the other hosts on Fox. But I really cannot stand Clarke. You are a Sheriff up north. You should be there leading your police force and not on every talk show on Fox. You had two police shootings. Shouldn't you be worried about that? While you have observations on national security, maybe even read a couple of books, it makes no sense that you are on Hannity talking about it. If I'm IT, I'm not going to make a point of how Infantry is supposed to seek, engage, and destroy the enemy. It seems like this dude is brought on every time someone breathes wrong. You are cop....be a cop.

He is a cop (as you put it) with a vast amount of knowledge, skills and experience of which he is sharing with the public, now if your an IT (infantry trainer, I take it) and your not making a point of how the infantry is to defend against, seek out, engage and destroy the enemy then you as an IT failed to do your job and failed those young soldiers you were responsible to train, but if your breaking IT training down into components and your job was to instruct on allotments, insurance, pay and such then I would tend to agree with your statement

IT- information technology. I'm not qualified to give a sound opinion on infantry tactics or the correct means to seek, engage, and destroy. I could give book answers which the average line unit PV2 would laugh at. So I'd be out of my lane talking about that. So I'd stick to IT. He is not qualified to speak on a national stage on national security. Nothing in his bio shows where he's done anything but be a cop and sheriff. So his opinion while entitled is worth a grain of salt.

SSG Warren Swan - As old school I stand corrected as to IT and apologize for the miss read, i understand that you do not like this sheriff for whatever reason but on a national stage concerning national security a person or persons from the ghetto to the highest office of the land can be, has been and will be a threat to our security, so their skill set and knowledge is valuable assets throughout the country, never overlook or discount even the most unlikely because they could do great harm or great good, it all depends on if we want to listen or crucify them
