PO1 Chris V. - It's hard for any human being to understand how the winner isn't elected. If Election Monitors watched our election, they would call it crooked, undemocratic, and a sham. In any other country, if a candidate wins the vote of the people, that candidate wins the election.

Capt Michael Greene - I would hazard that the fairness of the outcome, "In any other country..." depends on the people in charge. I've been in one or two places where the outcome was determined before the first vote was cast. Up til now there has been no question of the process as conducted in previous elections in modern history, and I don't think there will be a question in this contest. The best and the brightest called for HRC to win the electoral votes, and for DT to come close with the popular vote, hence his teams comments about there being a rigged election, HRC's team calling this preposterous, odious, and that DT should respect the outcome of the election. Lo and behold the reverse happens, and it's HRC's supporters that are crying foul and carrying on in the streets.

As much as many of us might not like it, Trump should be our next President. Hillary won the popular by only 200,000 on the backs of the huge margins she won California and New York by. The majority of the states were won by Donald Trump, and so should the majority of electors be.
That is about as fair a result as you can even ask for. Removing the individual states from our system removes what our country was founded upon. She was not cheated out of victory like many claimed Gore was, Trump won those states fair and square.

SPC Kevin Ford - I am aware that it is possible, I'm not over here calling it illegal/treason/whatever, but signing and sharing petitions meant to do nothing more than beg for electors to disregard the people of their state is not in the spirit of our system.
