I believe that education is a function best left to local governments and the states. The Federal Government should never have gotten involved in Education. As I read the Constitution, there is no support for a Department of Education. Republicans and Democrats have stretched the "general welfare" and "commerce" clauses of the Constitution too far and given us bloated Federal spending, reduced state and local control, and more limited personal freedom.

Any decent business leader knows that labor is overhead and inefficiencies begin when overhead outweighs margin. I hope he trims the fat with a liposuction vacuum. The fat he trims would definitely need to be quarantined as a bio-hazard.
