SSG Jessica Bautista - Nah, can't say that now could we? Heaven forbid a woman is strong enough to be fully independent and strong. Oh and she was the breadwinner in their early years, and raised two kids?
Behind every strong man is a STRONGER woman. I need o know what dating site I need to hit to find one like her.

SSG Jessica Bautista - Naw. I was half assed joking on that. But on a serious note, you can find a diamond anywhere. Keeping that diamond when you're in a sea of jewelers can be an issue. Barack got hella lucky with her. Corporate offices? Meh not sure on that exclusively. When I was younger it was said "you'll find your best women in a church". Thanks. That was a complete lie. Can't find em in the clubs. Again depends. If she's good in mind and heart, strong and independent, she could be working construction for all I care. Now if this is what I have to look forward to.....I'm gonna find a klan rally and throw myself in the fire.

I read this the other day and Laughed Laughed Laughed at the absurdity of it all. Ignorance in any form is ignorance and those particular memes cater to certain individuals who love to hang on to inaccurate portraits of their reality to fit a certain narrative.

Those two memes in particular- Racist - No; Ignorant- Yes indeed.

If it violated department rules as stated, well- Bye Felicia!

SSG Jessica Bautista - I can see your point for the most part, but I guess I am looking at it from a historical aspect with its historical inaccuracies, thus my slant towards it being ignorant. I am weird like that sometimes lol

SGT (Join to see) - I couldn't believe it when I read it. I have written posts on FB that were critical of various policies, but nothing like this. He's going to wind up swearing this was a big misunderstanding when it really wasn't. He'll be Security Chief at the WH working in the bathrooms making sure folks wash their hands, turned the faucets off, flushed, and asking if they need a hot towel, or shoe shine.

I think both are pretty racist. If your going to be a public servant, and your a racist... that's not good. If your going to be a public servant, your racist and your too stupid not to keep that racism to yourself... you should find a different line of work.

George, you are absolutely correct. I served as a police officer and I taught at an academy. We teach that the officers have a responsibility to maintain a position in society that does not draw embarrassment upon them or the department. Politics is a feudal topic. It is so polarised that most posts can be found in poor taste. I have found that positive posts for one side are by far better than negative posts for the other. It is a small change but makes for more professional responses. When officers are wrong, I always looked first was the act in violation to policies next, was the officer properly trained, then finally why did the officer do wrong. In cases like this, the answer is simple and you said it best, Some people just don't know when to keep quiet.
