As a retired Army Intelligence professional that just missed having the distinct honor of being a member, I agree, give these unsung hero's their overdue recognition!

That’s awesome! Maybe one day I can tell my story without repercussions! Only takes 50-60 years till those who initiated these “Secret Units” to pass away before we can. Oh well, glad these guys are able to get recognized! Just sad it took so long and so many passed away before they could be honored. God Bless

There was also a teletype repair guy who accidentally activated the CRITIC network sending the world into DEFCON 3 because he apparently typed a test message into a live transmitter suggesting the Chinese were invading India. No one else could confirm the report - ultimately we stood down - no repercussions to the repair guy other than strict orders not to do it again. Warmest Regards, Sandy :)
