So on one hand we want due process but on the other we want no process, simply lift the suspensions.

MCPO Mark Durland, to me, the key word in all this is "team". The coaching staff and the university suspended the players for the good of the "team" (and the university). Ten players are not the "team". Boycotting is not for the good of the "team", however justified the players think they are now or how it may prove to be in the future.
I think it's a well intended but short sighted move.

SGT (Join to see), I hope these players have thought this through carefully. The Holiday Bowl is a decent game with a nice payday. They're only about 5 point underdogs to Washington State and it'll be a good game. Repercussions could be significant for the players and the program.

If they feel that strongly that then they should boycott. They should also be ready to be cut from the team and have their scholarships revoked. Do these guys really have the marbles and the conviction to go through with it or are they just being snowflakes trying to get their way?
