SGM Mikel Dawson - actually SGM, 16th Sustainment Brigade was created in 2007 as the result of merging the 7th and 16th Corps Support Groups. Currently, 16th SB is the only Sustainment Brigade in Europe and and provides Sustainment for all forces of US Army Commands in Europe and Africa.

1SG (Join to see) - Was just wondering. I was in the 7th ARCOM and wore the 3rd COSCOM patch for some time. With all the reorganization and V Corps leaving I didn't know who was left. The 7th ARCOM is no more, it was reorganized into the 7th CSC and mission changed.

...You know that we've had Soldiers in Eastern Europe for a while now, right? We have units training the Ukranian national guard, and I have been on the border of the Russian Obelast bordering Lithuania. My coworkers and compatriots have been in just about every former Soviet satellite except Belarus, so I don't know why this is historic. I was even in Poland last year for training missions, and supported 3rd ID when they were there as well.

SFC (Join to see) - This is the first time an Armor Brigade has been deployed to Poland. https://www.google.de/amp/mobile.nytimes.com/2017/01/12/world/europe/as-trump-reaches-toward-putin-us-troops-arrive-in-poland.amp.html%3F0p19G%3De

We have naval missile bases in Romania, so really, Poland is nothing "new" for showing capability in the Baltics/Eastern Europe.
