Thank you Democrats for reniging on the Paris Peace accords, thank you all you flower children of the 60's and 70's, thank you for hiding the truth, the hard truth about Vietnam, I pray that this Video goes viral every where, so that the 54,000, + that died in Vietnam may receive some justification, and that the 1.7 million that served in Vietnam may have a small piece of Sanity back.

My take and mine only, some went, some didn’t, those of us that did had no control over the conduct of the war, that was left to politicians and governmental policies, the tragic outcome was over 58,000 lives lost ,that’s what I think happened in Vietnam,Welcome Home Brothers

A helluva lot of lives were lost, many more ruined. Those of us still breathing are still dealing with it in one way or another.
The U.S. went in, about as well prepared as we were when N. Korea invaded in 1950. Jungle fighting against an organized force - like the Japanese in WW2 is far different than battling roving bands of rebels. It doesn't take many guerillas to wreak havoc in a military force. The Nazis got a rude awakening of that, both in Greece and Russia. In Vietnam, the poverty-stricken general population didn't seem to much care who was running the government and they weren't really motivated to defend themselves.
Like the French, we got out of there, heads down, tails between our legs.

I have to disagree with the way we left, however I'd do it all over again if you could keep the idiot civilians out of it.

The Democrat Congress, Senate and President backed out of an agreement with South Vietnam, and put shame on every man or woman who served in that War.
