I would guess, the only way to get around being charged with "Brandishing" in the states that do not have this law, would be to "plug the thug" and let them try to question a dead guy? Sounds like a common sense law to me, but then, there seems to be a very real lack of common sense in politics these days, if there ever were.

I think I laughed a little too hard at this. But these days, even if you "plug the thug", you get sued by their family. Because "he was such a good guy! Never bovard no one and went 'bout his own bidnus." OR: "He/She didn't haff to shoot him! Dat was excessive! He/She took da law into his/her own hands and took my bruvaz life!"

Indeed it does PO3 (Join to see). I live in a state now, Rhode Island where I cant get a concealed firearms permit, Rhode Island and its even worse in NY where I used to live. I am very fortunate now that I can carry as a retired Military Police Officer under the Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act. The momentum needs to continue as we live in a very bad world nowadays.
