Mr. Comey impressed me as being so full of himself he doesn't even recognize what a wimp he appears to be. This was the FBI Director? Really? Maybe President Trump was correct calling him a "nut job."

I wonder when we see the investigation into theft of government property? With HRC we wanted to see and we knew that her work emails belonged to the USGov and the National Archives? Has Comey given all of his work products to the National Archives? Or did he steal some gov property that he created on a gov computer, on gov time, on taxpayers time...then he gave it to the NY Times!! Congress had requested those documents but he gave them to the newspaper before Congress?
He committed a crime. How much more documents has he given to the press? He is in charge of running the investigations of leakers. What is going on?

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel - I am sorry, you are incorrect. Leaking FOUO, or gov property is theft of information. Unauthorized disclosure, and violation of The National Archives Act. That was Gov property, created on gov computers. How do you feel it was not illegal, not theft, and not broken laws?
Does that mean that you can go out and tell everyone about the mission of your squad in an infantry unit without authorization? (That is an OPSEC issue, because at most squads, it is too small to have a classified mission, but loose lips can sink ships. Your Brigade mission may be classified.) Additionally, most information must be given to the Public Affairs Officer, and legally released in those channels.
Comey was the leader of the organization who is to investigate all leaks. It was very amazing that he was unauthorized and still disclosed to NYT. As a retired counterintelligence special agent, I am not sure how anyone can not see an authorized disclose, and multiple criminal actions by the man who we expected to stop leaks.
It does make me wonder how many other times he was a leaker.

Excellent analysis. My feelings as well. Some have opined that Trump is in the clear because there isn't enough evidence to charge him with anything. But there is enough evidence to warrant further investigation.....which may well lead to charges down the road. And of course, we only know what was said in the open session......more details were provided in the closed session that we are not yet privy to.
