Also this is where the criminal justice system gets the perception of unfairness due to X, Y, Z factors. // On your last comment about rewarding bad behavior. I think it’s Cloward Piven in practice. I am not sure of the hit and run sentence. You are right that the sentence and what gets served seems amazing....and rarely published.

My wife said murder in Alberta is pretty easy going for a prisoner. There was a girl who was stabbed and left at a park by West Edmonton Mall and the young adult served three years house arrest and the family was saying... Great, he gets to play Playstation for 3 years at home! What Justice is that?
