Yea, that'll show them. We contribute almost nothing to them to begin with. I believe we've given them about 5 billion dollars over the last 30 years. Israel on the other hand has eaten up about 130 billion tax payers dollars... Israel is consistently at the top of who we give aide to. You'd think after they've taken 130 billion dollars of our money they would be able to survive on their own. Certainly not America first.
Also lets not kid ourselves and act like Israel is some Kum-bay-yah nation looking to make love not war..

SPC David Willis - It's not 2 million. It is $350 Million Plus. That money can go to feed homeless vets, to take care of homeless people in every major US city. That is some of what it can do.

It's called budgeting. We don't ever do just one thing. I agree with your sentiment, but these can't ever be emotional decisions. If we don't support our allies they will cease to exist and will be replaced with our enemies. Whether or not the MSM tells you this, we are still in a very HOT Global War on Terror. Our brothers and sisters at arms, and perhaps yourselves, are fighting the enemy in over 200 countries. Either we are there or our enemies take over. We have momentum, and our enemies are cowering. We need to re-deploy and re-dedicate to the Middle East and sponsor a ME Marshall Plan and then STAY,. just like we did in Europe after WWII. We are still in countries we defeated there over 73 years ago, and these are now among the most peaceful and prosperous countries on earth, not in spite of the US, but because of the US. Hooah!

SSG (Join to see) - Yea I don't know why I put 2 million my mistake mind was thinking one thing hands did the other. Still stand by my point its a drop in the bucket when compared to our national spending budget. And you're right there are a lot of great things that money could do. But lets not kid ourselves and think that THE GOVERNMENT would get their act together and do something good with this block of money when they have a history of doing anything but. I also still stand by the sentiment that there are other countries we give aid to that that if decreased could help our budget out more than Palestine. So again this basically comes down to a dick swinging move and wont really change anything.

MAJ Montgomery Granger - We spend more on defense than the next 5 countries combined. and none of those 5 countries are our enemies in the Middle East. I'm not sure we need as many allies as we have, particularly in a region where their most high tech piece of war fighting equipment is a road side bomb. Also I don't believe Israel deployed any troops in support of OEF so why are we giving so much and receiving so little? Its not like they give us loads of oil. Only about 13% of our oil comes from the Persian gulf and about 65% of that oil comes from Saudi Arabia, who I would argue is our most important ally in the region followed by Kuwait (my opinion) because they give us a base of operations that is key in troop movements. Trump likes to talk about the UN being unfair because of how much we pay and how little we get, all the while continuing to pay billions a year while getting less than that in return.
