Create a life that feels good inside- great words for the day COL Mikel J. Burroughs Starting planning for our annual run that benefits a local Veteran s Park, just wrapped up an event that tried to connect those deployed with families back home in a unique 5K. I am sure I will get a few more projects in the next month or so... doing for others.

Very nice Marty - I love all the things you're doing for veterans in your neck of the woods and I hope that Victory for Veterans Foundation can partner up with you on some of the ones coming up in the future. We've got a big one coming up in the summer there with Iowa (BIKE22), so please get in touch with Steve Durgin here on RallyPoint to see if you can work together on that big event. Thanks Maj Marty Hogan

Donna Brickey - here is this year's event just so you can see what we do: https://secure.getmeregistered.com/get_information.php?event_id=128948

I have been involved for many years, but more so after 2010. I was a spokesman for a local cancer charity run when my wife was going through chemo. Snowballed from there. I have had something to do with Race for the Cure, some mental health and autism runs, and I sit on our local Missouri River Runners board. Also chair a marketing committee for a local trail being built- about a $20 million dollar+ project. I believe this will be a full time gig when I retire.
