Bob, it is not only our children. It's also our Active and Veteran community. We have always had guns. What has been added? What is new? The ideologue will never admit to their failed social experiment. It must be an object. Today's Veteran death rate is equal to a school mass shooting every day for the past 8 years and no one has pointed to psychotropics.

SN (Join to see), the gun is a conduit. It could be a knife, box cutter, pipe bomb or whatever. Not unlike a large section of our nation, kids have problems and pressure that they can't all deal with. So we medicate them. Like the adults, it works for some and not so much for others. Either way, at that point a lot of medical supervision stops. Except for their family, nobody, and in some cases not even the family knows how they are really doing.
The same thing happens at the base or VA level. They throw handfuls of meds and hope it works, often with no other diagnoses or treatment. At least that's how I felt. No wonder Vets give up on life.

How the hell does a kid deal with it? Beats the shit out of me, but child or adult, we need to do better in this area. Just my 2 cents.
