The article correctly notes that the majority of head injuries in the military are not in combat, what it doesn't address is how many of those injuries are in situations where helmets aren't worn at all. It is great that this company is working on improving the injury prevention aspect of the helmet but I wonder what (if anything) can be done to reduce head injuries in other non-combat situations.

Also, in both combat and non-combat a lot of soldiers wear the Combat Vehicle Crewman (CVC) helmet, not the ballistic helmet used by everyone else.
