We have a like female in my neck of the woods. First thing these soon to be military members need to learn is wear the uniform of the day as published. It's not up to you.

Totally agree with the school. They have a policy and it makes total sense. I can see it getting out of hand if they allowed her to wear it. I can only imaging what the next student would be wearing. Secondly what did she do to earn the sash? The article doesn’t say but I suspect she probably did a delayed enlistment which means she hasn’t done anything yet. Jeez some people just want to make something out of nothing.

I agree. The military will also set strict guidelines as to appropriate and inappropriate uniform. She should get used to it.

It seems to me that someone entering a highly structured organization that values tradition, uniformity, and subordinating self to the organization, should shut her pie hole and respect the schools sense of tradition, uniformity, and subordinate herself to the schools rules.

Anyone want to place a bet on how long before she post one of those "Can my command legally tell me that I have to..." questions?
