Good the Jews deserve to see anyone involved at least recognized for their part. So many try to say it never happened. Prevents any of them from leaving a dishonest legacy behind.

Let the poor beggar live in peace, he probably doesn't have much time left on this earth, he'll be judged by the Supreme judge in the end.

SGT David A. 'Cowboy' Groth You're probably right. the last 2 that were Judged died while on Initial Appeal. Kind of an Exercise in Futility.

MSG Stan Hutchison - No, of course there is no time limit on justice. Listen to the rest of your statement: “If this man contributed to the loss of life, he should face justice.” Where is the justice in that? To “contribute” can be construed as serving on the same side… that would be contributing to the death of many. That’s why I used the analogy of serving in Vietnam, I figured you may be able to understand when portrayed in the correct context.

Back to the subject of this 95 year old Nazi. The point I believe SGT Mark Estes was trying to make is that: at 95 years old the likelihood of someone being alive and mentally alert enough to testify about something that happened 74 years ago, is slim to none. If not, then I will make the point. In my mind it would not be just to convict someone just because they served in the same military as others. In my opinion this is in God’s territory. Again, in my opinion it is better that 7 guilty go free, than one innocent person die and/or suffer.

As to standards, you brought up standards when you started speaking about facing justice. I apologize if I upset you. I don’t cede my ability to place a topic in context based on any historic wars, or another’s words. If you can’t stand honest debate, get out of the kitchen.

SFC (Join to see) - No where did I say that this man should be punished for serving in his nation's military. I said if there is sufficient evidence to warrant a trail, then that trail should be held.

SFC (Join to see) - I am not upset. I just do not see the necessity of addressing personal traits in a discussion. I prefer to discuss the merits of the discussion, not those involved in the same.
