I was saying... what was that about government influence in private industry? Let me see... You think the big tax cut was responsible for the steady job numbers? Appears to be a continuing trend. Same source.

MSgt Steve Sweeney - What you haven't noted is that for once wages have been rising or holding steady against inflation.

Not difficult to look up for yourself. As you can clearly see, your claim of "for once" is incorrect. 2.1% is not all that spectacular, especially compared against corporate profits. Higher wage increases through 2016... though if you really dig into it, most of that percentage increase is at the top earning levels, in 2016 and now.

But again, the point your are arguing, poorly, was not the main point.

15,000 lost jobs (assuming they are lost) is not going to offset all of the jobs created the last two years. While I know you are happy that 15,000 Americans may be out of work so you can try to get a clean shot in at Trump, the fight is not over, just yet.

GM, the company that took the bailout from the previous administration (and US taxpayers) instead of closing a plant overseas decided to close one in Ohio. They can do what they like but the administration can make it hurt if they are receiving tax breaks, subsidies, government contracts etc. Lots of companies enjoy their federal government contracts. Well, those are not guaranteed either.
