No doubt the M2HB is the Duece. However, try humping one. We tried it once in Vietnam in November 1968 in trhe Bilong Valley. One guy carried the tripod, another 2 barrels, the T&E Mechenism, bolt, mount, and trigger plate & lastly the receiver. I can't even remember who carried the ammunition. This lasted 3 days. Total dumb ass act and didn't get to use it.

Ma Deuce has been in the US Military inventory for 86 years. There are some original guns still in use, of course they have been rebuilt and re-barrled many times.

I can attest to the value of an M60 and here I am, then a Sergeant with a M60 working a bunker on the base perimeter of DaNang Air Base, Vietnam in 1968-69. This concrete bunker I'm in here was built by the French who were there before us and looking out over rice paddies. There is a Vietnamese Village across the from My position here. Also above, highre up a walled roof with a 50 Caliber was mounted there
