It might be important for the future with the Chinese trying to push back ships traveling in international waters.

I Remember reading some Where That The US Carriers Used The Same Plumbing For Fuel As For Fire Fighting On The Flight Deck And It Made Things Easier To Fight Fires less Systems to operate And Fuel Was Isolated To better Protected Areas In A nasty Fight...
