Good morning RP. Today's Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD) is titled "Moons near Jupiter." Captured May 20th when a passing cloud bank dimmed the moonlight, the single exposure reveals the familiar face of our fair planet's own large natural satellite, along with bright Jupiter (lower right) and some of its Galilean moons. Click on the APOD page to see the entire image. Lined up left to right the tiny pinpricks of light near Jupiter are Ganymede, Europa, [Jupiter] and Callisto. A well-timed photographic feat IMHO.

I am just getting back to my laptop after a long day doing some intense IT work for one of my son't company's clients... Interesting, but tiresome!
Your Astronomy Picture of the Day is a one of a kind photo capture as the timing has to be perfect to capture the intricate detail of objects so far away in space...
