President Trump said nothing that wasn't said by Democratic Leaders, but it's RACIST because President Trump said it. Good grief, y'all make yourselves look so ridiculous, how can you expect us to take seriously anything you say? Here, let me repeat it. Baltimore is a shithole and Cummings is too busy bullying law enforcement officers thousands of miles from his home to take care of the mess there. Am I racist? I was born and raised in Baltimore and will never return. Why? I can't. The Baltimore I left behind to enlist in the Army has long since disappeared under decades of misfeasance and malfeasance by Democratic leaders like Cummings.

Capt Gregory Prickett - Yeeeeeaaaaah right.
_Are those wealthy districts wealthy because of Democratic rule, or because of free enterprise, free markets, capitalism, entrepreneurial synergy? Government does not create prosperity, but it most certainly can kill it.
_As long as your offering... Yes, I do need you to pull data on GOP districts. And if it is not to much trouble do a comparison of quality of life issues and government malfeasance of major metropolitan areas under the extended rule of either major parties.
_Yes or no? people are asking themselves "Are the DNC and RNC actually serving their constituents, or just serving the politically elite and the donor class?" It may be bullying (So what? Wooses need not run for office.) But you still haven't made a persuasive case for Trump's racism.

Maj John Bell -
_If you are going to blame Dems for districts in poverty (which is not the MD-7th), then they also get credit for districts with wealth.
_OK, I will, but it won't be tonight.
_Actually, I have, numerous times. "There are none so blind as those who will not see."

Capt Gregory Prickett -
_No the Democrats do not get credit for districts with wealth. For as long as I can remember the DNC has been fighting the war on poverty. Their economic policies create dependency, not prosperity.

The Republicans don't claim to create wealth, they just claim to keep government out of the way. When it comes to governance quality, not quantity should be the standard.

The quality of persuasiveness is determined by the receiver, not the sender. As I said, I am unpersuaded.

Maj John Bell - then you don't get to criticize them if the districts are in poverty. What you are doing is called a special pleading fallacy.

CW3 Michael Bodnar - all of that is well and good, and as to how liberals view this, I don't have a clue--I've never been able to understand their mindset. Second, I have been to Baltimore, so yes, I've seen it. Third, I have not said anything about blacks being oppressed, nor about their being oppressed by Trump. That's because "racism" and "oppression" are two completely separate issues. Fourth, the I have a successful friend who is black is a time-honored fallacy to sidestep racism issues.

This thread is not about how blacks are treated, their opportunities, oppression, etc. It is about racism by Donald Trump. Elijah Cummings could be a complete POS, as could the four US citizens that Trump wanted to send "back" to their countries. None of that affects the fact that Trump is a racist, and has been for years.

CW3 Michael Bodnar - Dennis Prager? Really? He's been bought and paid for years ago. You should look at some of the PragerU debunked videos that have been posted.

Capt Gregory Prickett - Videos on both sides of the isle have "debunked" each other so your point doesn't hold any weight. The mere fact that you still have yet to post actual quotes of President Trump being racist and you continue stating that he's a racist blows my mind. Are you following the MSM's playbook of if you say it enough, it must be true?

Capt Gregory Prickett I have to disagree with you on this one. What did he say that was racist? He pointed out the truth about the 7th Congressional of Maryland which has been under Democrat control for decades. You really should take a trip through Baltimore (I have numerous times because I used to work downtown) and it's a disgusting place to drive through. Blocks upon blocks of homes lay in ruin with crime and gangs ruling the streets. Even local politicians don't venture out and it's no wonder the city is a cesspool because they keep electing the same people who do NOTHING for the city. I love how every time President Trump opens his mouth, he's a racist yet he's done more to pull people of color out of poverty than his predecessor. Bernie Sanders made a similiar comment in 2015 and nobody bats an eye but Trump says the same thing and he's a racist. Hypocrisy at its finest.

Actually, he didn't point out the truth on the MD-7th. The income level is at the 61st percentile for the nation, and well above the 22d percentile of WH Chief Mulvaney's old district, the SC-5th. Of the districts that are over 50% black, the MD-7th has the second highest income level per capita, only behind the MD-4th in the entire nation. It has above average numbers for college educated residents. John Hopkins University is in his district, along with the University of Maryland System. Next, every time Trump tweets "infested", the tweet is about people of color.

Look, I'm not saying that you can't support him, you can--but you are supporting a racist. If you're good with that, fine, it's your right. But don't come to me complaining that I'm pointing out that Trump is a racist. If the emperor has no clothes, that's what I'm going to say. In this case, the emperor is racist.

Capt Gregory Prickett - Yet despite all that prosperity, there are still areas with severe rodent and roach infestation, and gang related criminal activity present severe public health and severe quality of life issues. Look at similar urban areas throughout America and you will see a high correlation to extend rule by Democratic Party rule. Does correlation equal causation... well, I've got my opinion.

Capt Gregory Prickett - You have yet to prove to me or anyone on RP how he's a racist. Until you can show me actual quotes of his that are racist, then you have nothing but hearsay. Is he unorthodox, absolutely but he's getting the job done. What I think the liberal progressives are afraid of is the fact that he is successful. For some reason, they cannot stand it. Look, I didn't vote for Obama but he was my Commander in Chief. I disagreed with how he chose to manage our Republic but that doesn't make me a racist even though I've been called that by people of all races. So, until you can type out (not from a meme) and show me how President Trump's comments about Baltimore are racist, you're doing nothing more than to promote the same BS progressive liberals are which does nothing but further the divide that was started long before President Trump took office.
