Whatever path or identity You may adopt the very fact You served and received Your DD Form 214 is a valid reason to take pride in that service. You have done something and formed a bond with other Men and Women that most have not ever done and in service to the United States of America and it's citizens. You already have the identity as an Armed Forces Veteran and can only expand upon that with the pride You already have and have earned. My salute to each and every one of You for that service.

I found after putting my uniform in a back closet and my dog tags and service ribbons in a cigar box way back in 1968 ,my three year enlistment with ten months and fourteen days tour in Vietnam, the personality I adopted was anonymity, since most of my peers couldn’t care less about the war and those of us that fought in it,exactly the same personality I retain to this day, Welcome Home Brothers
