If they talk about Hunter, it needs to be in the broader context of why it's wrong for people like Hunter, Eric, Don Jr., Ivanka, etc., to leverage their parents' names for financial gain. It's wrong for Hunter Biden, but his poor judgment pales in comparison to others who are also very relevant to this election (like the Trump family).

You are absolutely correct... "in the broader context of why it's wrong for people like Hunter, Eric, Don Jr., Ivanka, etc., to leverage their parents' names for financial gain."

However, EVERYONE who walks, talks, and is trying to make a deal leverages the names of parents, friends, colleagues, etc. etc. etc. Business has always been, is, and will always be about relationships and networks. It is merely so much more dramatic/effective and sinister, when done by the political elite. It is so much more complicated now in fairly recent history than in the past because our politcal elite and our economic elite are becoming one and the same.

Whether we realize it or not, we are marching quick-time into a highly structured, highly rigid caste system.

A good point.

It is also why I was OK with the dog pile on Elizabeth Warren last night. She may very well be the candidate and she needs some practice fending off attacks. She did pretty well but she has to talk about the tax rates on her health care plan. We all know the answer and her desire not to put that sound bite out there is more harmful than the sound bite likely would be.

I will keep this pithy.
Hunter Biden is not on the ballot.
Joe Biden probably won't be, either.
