The only reason he wore the uniform to trial was to try and sway the judge. Trying to get leniency on your anchors is pretty weak. The judge didn’t have to see his uniform to know he was retired military, he can read after all! I was proud to wear my uniform, but only put it on now to attend funerals of veterans
